INTRODUCING: MY HUSBAND AND FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER
I am a retired physician with a passion for photography that developed in childhood. I was born and raised in Mexico City where I attended medical school at Universidad Anahuac. After graduating, I came to the U.S.A. to do post-graduate and specialty training. I practiced in San Antonio, Texas for 27 years.
My parents gave me my first camera when I was 8, an old Agfa using 120 film. By time I was 15 I was developing black and white film in my own darkroom at home. Just before medical school I studied professional photography at the New York Institute of Photography. I devoted my free time to travel and photography during my medical years. Since retiring from medicine in 2018, I pursue photography full time. My work has been recipient of multiple international competition awards and published several times in Best Photography of the Year books. I love the challenge of photography projects and enjoy the end results. I hope you like my work as well.
Proud member of Professional Photographers of America.
