Hand-dyed paper applied over wood, then glazed in an amber tones followed by application of acrylic paints. Imagery comes from a variety of sources including my own photography and text, excerpts from a college physics book, and antique postcards. The word “Alero” comes from a photograph of a vintage Cuban cigar box.
